BHS Portable Gantry Cranes are an excellent solution for the safe vertical extraction of most standard lift truck batteries. More cost effective than bridge cranes, the Non-Power Drive Gantry Crane ensures constant lifting stability while providing floor space flexibility.
The BHS Non-Power Gantry Crane provides safe and easy vertical extraction for most standard forklift batteries. These overhead cranes save time and money by speeding up change-outs and keeping your fleet moving. Choose between a 2-ton or 3-ton capacity gantry crane with a variety of beam span lengths available, all featuring solid steel construction for reliable service with the heaviest loads. These adjustable gantry cranes feature modular design for easy system expansion, while optional casters create a highly mobile gantry crane.
BHS designs all products with worker safety as a high priority. Cable Festoon Kits protect staff by securing cables during operation of the overhead bridge crane system. Heavy duty welded steel construction creates a rugged and durable product that can safely lift a 2- or 3-ton battery, depending on model. For quality assurance, BHS inspects each gantry before shipping.
Models are sized in 2-foot increments from 10 to 18 feet of beam length. The Non-Power Gantry Crane comes standard with 8-inch swivel casters, and floor mounts or rigid phenolic casters are available as additional features. Fully custom gantry cranes are available to match any crane design considerations.

BHS Fleet Tracker is a cloud-based fleet-management system, with detailed reporting that allows users to right-size their fleets for optimal efficiency. Connection to the IIoT allows managers to measure the health of batteries, stands, and trucks by logging into a secured Web Portal.
Fleet Tracker’s touchscreen HMI mounted to the Automatic Transfer Carriage guides users to charged batteries, posts maintenance reminders, and updates the status of battery assets to the cloud. The Fleet Tracker system improves battery health, improves change-out efficiency, and gives managers the real-time data they need to eliminate waste by matching assets to needs exactly.
