The Custom Platform Truck equipped with guide track allows product to be quickly and safely maneuvered through confined spaces or areas where lift truck access is not possible. When equipped with an optional roller bed attached to the platform, the custom platform truck becomes an economical solution for transferring product between unconnected conveyor lines.
This customized Platform Truck from BHS combines features of standard Platform Trucks and adds single guidance V-groove track and a 3-sided platform for transporting skidded or crated product within a dedicated, defined area. The track-guided platform truck is ideal for moving product within a confined space or narrow aisle were lift truck access is not possible. The platform truck can be loaded in an open or accessible area and then easily and precisely pushed into the area of use as the guide track keeps the platform truck within the dedicated travel path, preventing accidental contact with its surroundings.
A turn-table platform allows product to be loaded from one side, moved along the track to the area of use and rotated 180 degrees to offload the product on the opposite side from which it was loaded. The platform rotates on sealed ball bearings with minimal effort.
