Custom Order Picking Cart, 60 X 56, Folding Shelves

The design of this custom cart uses the foundation of BHS' standard Order Picking Carts and adds a unique feature to address adjustable and/or removable shelves. Instead of our standard, fixed position shelves, this cart uses hinged, folding shelves. This feature eliminates the risk of injury and struggle of adjusting and/or removing heavy, awkward shelves, eliminates the need to store removed shelves when not in use, and allows the shelves to be adjusted when needed – even when the cart is in use at an elevated level while actively picking product.

Two folding shelves, each equipped with gas shocks to reduce effort, fold in the center and at the rear, allowing the shelves to fold in half, upward against the back of the cart. Tracks on each side of the shelves are equipped with a series of holes allowing the shelves to be folded back in 3” intervals. Pins are placed in holes to secure the shelves in the desired position. Shelves can be folded independent of each other, providing convenient flexibility.
