Vertical Sheet Rack System

The Vertical Sheet Rack System from BHS provides vertical rack storage for sheet metal, glass panels, stone slabs, and similar raw material products — all in roll-out drawers that maximize storage space while providing quick, easy access. Drawers extend to expose the entire face of the sheet, making these sheet metal storage racks compatible with vacuum lifts, sheet lifts, magnets, hoists, forklifts, and other material handling systems.

This is a complete sheet metal rack system with roll-out racking. Each vertical storage rack stores steel plates or other sheets of up to 12 feet by 6 feet (3.66 meters by 1.83 meters), and 2 inches (5 centimeters) thick, with a maximum weight capacity of 2,000 pounds (907 kilograms). That can be a single large sheet or multiple smaller sections of material inventory. Choose a vertical storage system with 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 racks, or get custom vertical sheet racks to meet your specifications.

All BHS vertical storage racks feature a steel, powder-coated frame combined with reinforced rack compartments and heavy-duty guide tracks. This design provides a space-saving shelving solution that makes an ideal steel plate storage rack.

Rear V-groove casters lock into reinforced guide tracks to allow a single employee to easily access sheet products on the drawer, improving material flow. Welded pull handles improve ergonomics during operation. The slightly angled design keeps materials firmly in place as the drawer slides in and out of the frame. And lateral support bars on the frame offer convenient storage for remnant pieces.
