Warehouse Safety Regulations in Turkey

Workers at warehouses, distribution centers, and other material handling applications face particular health risks. In response, Turkish law requires employers at these facilities to provide specific material handling equipment to keep employees safe.

Turkey’s occupational safety and health laws are designed to comply with the European Union Workplace Health and Safety Directive (89/391/EEC), which has clear guidelines for ergonomics and material handling equipment. Here are the relevant national laws that cover health and safety in Turkish warehouses, along with BHS products that comply with these guidelines:
